The Book Thief by Markus Zusak Book Review!

Hi!

Today I'm reviewing The Books Thief by Markus Zusak. This really is a good book. It's darker then the books I usually read, but when a book takes place during WWII then it's going to be at least a little dark.

SPOILER ALERT!

The book is about a girl named Liesel Meminger, who is taken in by Hans and Rosa Hubermann in Nazi Germany during the early parts of World War II.  During her stay on Himmel Street, she makes a habit of stealing books from the mayors house.

Liesel is one of my favorite characters of the book. Even though I don't condone stealing, I can totally relate to her love for books, and words. I love how she wants to learn to read, and is always eager to read a new book.

Rudy Steiner is Liesel's best friend who tries to kiss her trough out most of the book. They have interesting relationship where they're constantly calling each other names. I love Rudy, and I love his and Liesel's friendship.

I like Liesel's foster parents, Hans and Rosa Hubermann, as well. I instantly loved Hans, he is such a good father to Liesel. I like Rosa, though she was rude to Liesel for a godd portion of the book. As the book goes on, Rosa and Liesel, get along a lot better, and we learn the Rosa really loved Liesel.

I also really like Max. He is a really good character, and he and Liesel become good friends with Liesel because they both love books.

My favorite part has to be when Lesel steals the book from the bonfire. The ending, in my opinion, was both sad and satisfying, I was sad that the street that Liesel lived on was bombed, I was sad that Hans, Rosa, and Rudy died in the bombing. I was happy though to find out that he lived and was reunited with Liesel: it showed that Liesel didn't loose everyone she loved. I also like that Liesel was able to move on, get married, and have kids, etc.

This really is a good book. Well done, Marcus Zusak.

That's all for now.

Seizure by Kathy Reichs Book Review!

Hello!

Seizure is the second book in the Virals series by Kathy Reichs and Brendan Reichs. This book is just as good as the first one.

In this book, the lab where Tory, Ben, Shelton, and Hi's parents' work is in danger of closing, and the Virals are gonna have to move. Tory and her friends try to find a way to stay in Charleston, which turns into a search for pirate treasure.

I still think Tory is an awesome character. I think she's starting to slowly fall for Ben. When they were on his boat she was saying that he was good looking and stuff, and I was like is that foreshadowing? Either way, I ship it!

Ben was awesome in this book! I love his relationship with Tory, Shelton, and Hi. He's protective, and strong, and I just love him.

Shelton and Hi are fantastic! Shelton is still very cautious, and Hi is till very funny. Hi had some of the best lines of the book.

Chance was interesting. I don't really know what to think about him. Is he good now? Is he still a bad guy? I don't know.

I like Kit a little more then I did before. Whitney, one the other hand, is still annoying.

And then there's one of the best parts of the entire book, when we meet, drum roll please, Temperance Brennan! Oh my gosh, I love that part so much! to be honest, I've never read the Temperance Brennan books, but I do love the TV show, so to have her in a Virals book is very awesome!

I also love the part when they go hunting for the treasure, and they were in the caves. It was like the Goonies! It was a very keep-you-at-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of feeling. I also love the beginning of the book when Tory, Ben, and Hi were on the beach testing their powers.

This is a great book, I highly recommend it.

Virals by Kathy Reichs Book Review!

Hi!

Today I'm gonna be reviewing Virals, which is the first book in the Virals series by Kathy Reichs, author of the Temperance Brennan books, and is co-written by Brendan Reichs. As always, there are spoilers!

The series is about Tory Brennan, great-niece to forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan, and her best friends, Ben, Shelton, and Hi rescue a wolf-dog named Cooper from a lab and start to develop wolf like symptoms. And Tory, Ben Shelton, and Hi try to solve a forty-year-old cold case murder of a young girl.

Tory is a really awesome character. She's like a mix between Max from Maximum ride and Temperance Brennan. Tory is kind of a tom boy and is a people person, but when she comes across a set of bones then she's like her great-aunt Tempe, which is awesome because I'm a huge fan of the TV show, BONES.

I really love Ben, Shelton, and Hi! I love Tory's relationship with each of them. They are so funny! Hi is the Comic relief, I love him, he's so funny. Shelton is the smart tech geek, he's also kind of a scardy-cat, but I love him all the same. And I reallylove Ben. He's, like, the balance between Shelton and Hi, but, for the most part, he's kind of serious.

Jason is a good character. I don't ship him with Tory, but he's a nice guy. I don't like Chance, I don't think I liked him once the whole time I read this book. I just didn't feel anything for him. Then when you reach the end and then I decided I didn't like Chance. I don't like Whitney, she's so annoying!

I love the part where they find the bones, like I said before, I watch the show so this was familiar to me, and the guys's reaction when Tory touches the bones is funny. I listened to this on autiobook and this part both very cool and very scary on audiobook. And the ending was so good!

Also, did I detected a hint of romance between Ben and Tory near the end?  It's when Tory slapped Ben to get him to flare up. Either way I ship Ben and Tory!

That's all.

Bye.

Accordance by Shelly Crane Book Review!

Hello!

I'm finally gonna review Accordance, the second book in the Significance series by Shelly Crane.  I love this book maybe more then the first one! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!

Maggie and Caleb go into hiding because the people who kidnapped Maggie are still out there. And Maggie learn that she's some sort of visionary and has to lead the Aces.

Let's talk about Maggie and Caleb first. In case you didn't know I am a huge Maggie and Caleb shipper. They are awesome together.   And when Caleb asked Maggie to marry him, we're talking major fangirl moment.

Kyle got on my nerves so many times.  I'm not a fan of love triangles.  And then a girl named Lynn came and imprinted on Kyle and I was like "Yay!", now Kyle is in love with Lynn, and there are no more love triangles (I hope).

And I understand what the cover of the fourth book is about, with the red dress and stuff!  I get it!

All in all, this is a great story.  I love and will re-read it again and again.

Bye.

Brand New DIVERGENT TV Spot!!!

AHHHHH! I want to see it so bad!
