The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan Book Review!

I'M FINALLY GOING TO REVIEW THE MARK OF ATHENA!!!! The Mark of Athena is the third book in the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan, and is my favorite book in the series.

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!

The book takes place immediately after The Son of Neptune. The Greek demigods try to form an alliance with the Roman demigods. but it does't work out as planed. The seven demigods of the prophecy (Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank, and Hazel) have to go to Rome to defeat the giants there, and Annabeth has a quest of her own and has to follow the Mark of Athena.

I love that all seven main characters are finally together!!! I love how everyone takes to each other. Frank and Leo are constantly fighting, Percy and Jason have a bromance and a little bit of rivalry going on, and Hazel is confused about how she feels about Leo (not romantically).

This book gave my a lot of Percabeth and Jasper feels. I love Percy and Annabeth's moments, and Jason and Piper are cute.

I love Leo, and Frank, and Hazel as well. Leo blames himself for blowing up New Rome. He also blames himself for Percy and Annabeth falling into Tartarus, And the whole thing with Nemesis made me mad. I wanted to punch Nemesis for calling Leo a seventh wheel! Did anyone feel this way or is it just me?

Remember in The Light Thief when Percy, Annabeth, and Grover almost fell into Tartarus? Well, in this book, that takes place five years after TLT, Percy and Annabeth fell into Tartarus. That's just cruel, Rick Riordan!

And Percy and Annabeth met Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Pack. Why do I find that part so funny?

I have a lot of favorite parts. I love when Annabeth and Percy kiss and then she judo flips him. And when Percy scared the dolphin men away with Diet Coke; the part has so hilarious!

I love this book and the characters. I highly recommend it.

The Serpent's Shadow by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hi!

I'm now reviewing The Serpent's Shadow, which is the third and last book in The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan. I'm so excited to review this book! This is my favorite book in The Kane Chronicles.

Warning: Spoilers!

Apophis is rising faster and causing a lot of trouble. Carter, Sadie, and the rest of the kids at Brooklyn House haft to work together to stop the serpent's shadow.

I love Carter a lot in this book! He seems to acted more confidence, and everyone looks to him as the leader, kind of like Percy in The Last Olympian. CARTER AND ZIA ARE FINALLY A COUPLE!!!! You guys don't know how happy this makes me! 

I love Sadie and the whole Walt/Anubis thing!  Now you know why I like this love triangle: first, I love Walt and Anubis; second,Walt and Anubis don't fist over Sadie, or anything like that. They join bodies so Walt is able to live, and Anubis can have a mortal form and Sadie doesn't get to choose.  Everybody wins!

And Bes is back!  Yay!

And the book made references to the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, and Dr Who, and even though I don't watch Dr Who, I thought the references were funny.

The book kind of ended like how The Last Olympians ended with the Second Great Prophesy, which makes me think will Rick Riordan write a spin-off series like he did with PJO?  I sure hope so.

The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hi, I'm back!

I'm now going to review The Throne of Fire, the second book in The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan. SPOILERS! 

Apophis is rising and Ra seems to be the only one who can stop him. Carter and Sadie Kane go to find Ra.

Carter was awesome. I like that he tries to find Zia, the real Zia. I ship Carter and Zia so hard. What the heck would their couple name be? Carter doesn't really think of himself as a leader, he doesn't seem to know what he's capable of, but he really pulled through and it was awesome.

Sadie has gotten really close to Walt and slowly starts to fall for him, which makes Sadie really confused about her feelings for Anubis, and Walt and Anubis seem to be pretty good friends. This is one of the only love triangles I like.

I like Bes. I didn't expect to like him as much as I did. I was sad about what happened to him at the end. And I like Bast, and I wish we saw a little more of her in the book.

I of course love Walt, Anubis, Zia, and Amos. I love that we saw Carter and Sadie's parents, I liked them.

Ra was kind of weird. When Carter and Sadie found him he acted like a senile old man and not very threatening.

This book was awesome; just as good as the first one.

The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hi!

Here's my review for The Red Pyramid, which is the first book in The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan. I love this series; It's just as good as Percy Jackson.

The book is about about Carter Kane and his sister Sadie who are trying to save the world from Set the Egyptian god of evil.

I love Carter so much. He's kind of like Percy Jackson, but he isn't. He doesn't seem to have a lot of confidence in himself. He also doesn't really get along with his sister Sadie. They fight quite a bit in this book (well, in every book actually). But I still really really love Carter, I totally ship Carter and Zia!

Sadie is also really awesome. She's very independent, and always speaks her mind (they often mention that she talks a lot over the series). Sadie is kind of different from a lot of fictional girls that I've read about so far.

I like Amos even though we don't see a whole lot of him in this book. And I love Brooklyn House, and Khufu the baboon, and Philip of Macedonia the crocodile.

I also really love that Rick Riordan made Anubis, the Egyptian god of death, look like a hot teenage boy. 

I also love Bast. I thought she was a fun character. I really like the part when she got scared, but her face didn't show it, but since she's the cat goddess her hair stood up on end with static but she don't know it.

I love this book so much! I'm sorry this review it's short and it's, like, all about the characters but when I read a book the first thing that I notice the most is the characters, and I just want to fangirl and gush about them.

The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Here's my book review for The Son of Neptune, which is second book in The Heroes of Olympus series book Rick Riordan. SPOILERS!!!

PERCY JACKSON IS BACK!!! In this book, Percy, like Jason, has no memory of his past, the only thing he does remember if Annabeth. He finds himself at Camp Jupiter, a camp for Roman demigods. There he befriends Frank, a son of Mars, and Hazel, a daughter of Pluto, and they go on a quest to free the god of death who's name I don't remember how to spell. 

Percy kind of matured since the PJO series, but he's still the same funny Percy we know and love. It's so sweet how he remembers Annabeth, who else loved that? And he had a dream with Grover in it! I lover Grover! Also, I love his relationship with Frank and Hazel.

I love Frank. For a son of Mars the god of war, Frank really isn't a violent person unlike most children of the war god. He's doesn't have a lot of confidence in himself and he's kind of shy, but I love him anyway. And I love him and Hazel  as a couple. I'm a huge Frazel shipper. 

Hazel is also really cool. She is also Nico di Angelo's half sister, I love that plot twist! I really love Hazel's and Nico's relationship! 

I liked seeing Nico again but I didn't like that that he pretended not to know Percy.

I like Reyna, I think she's pretty cool. I hate Octavian! He's so creepy! I still don't like Hera, or Juno, whatever.

This book was really funny. I thought it was funny that Percy didn't like Hazel's horse's potty mouth. I also like Ella, and that we saw Tyson and Mrs O'Leary.

And that's all I have to say about The Son of Neptune.

The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hi!

Finally I'm reviewing The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. This is the first book in The Heroes of Olympus series, which is a sequel or spin-off series of the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series. Spoiler Alert!!!

This book is about three new demigods, Piper, the daughter of Aphrodite, Leo, the son of Hephaestus, and Jason, the son of Jupiter (as in the Roman version of Zeus). Jason wakes up on a bus and he can't remember anything. Piper says that she's his girlfriend and Leo say the he's his best friend. The three of them have to go on a quest to save Hera, who was kidnapped by giants. And Percy Jackson is missing.

I love Jason, Piper, and Leo! Jason is awesome. I love his relationship with Piper and Leo. It's hard not to like Jason in this book, at least it was like that to me. I thought it was cool that when they were at Camp Half-Blood Jason kept referencing Roman stuff. And does anyone else ship Jasper?

Piper Is also kind of going through a hard time in this book. She's really upset that her relationship with Jason was a trick of the Mist caused by Hera, who can blame her for that. She also has this cool power where she can charmspeak people into doing what she tells them to.

Leo Valdez is amazing!!! He is so funny, and awesome, and he's really good with tools. He also becomes friends with  mechanical dragon named Festus. Leo definitely has a sad history involving his mom dying, but he doesn't let it get him down, that's how awesome he is.

I liked that we see Annabeth, Thalia, and Chiron again. And Thalia being Jason sister was cool.

And it's probably a good thing I joined this fandom late because the ending had a big cliff hanger.

I seriously hate Hera! She's so annoying.

All in all, I loved this book. This series is just as good as the last one.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hi.

Now I'm reviewing The Last Olympian, which is the last book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan.  SPOILER ALERT!

In this book, Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and all the other demigods of Camp Half-Blood teem up to defeat Kronos and the Titans.

Percy is slowly falling for Annabeth.  We also see Percy as a leader, which was cool. Percy also developed a friendship with Nico, which really cool.

Annabeth is sad because of Luke which you can't really blame her for. She's also kid of falling for Percy. 

We don't see a lot of Grover, but he's still awesome.

Thalia is back!  Did anyone else miss Thalia?

And Tyson is so sweet!  I love him.  I love his relationship with Percy.

Clarisse and Chris are awesome together. I definitely ship them. 

One of the things I love about this is that they pretty much destroy New York City while fighting the titans, in Avengers or the Transformers movies.  It's awesome!

I also love the part at the end when Percy and Annabeth Kiss at the bottom of the lake. It was so cute!

One part I didn't like though was the Part when Percy and Nico met Luke's possessed mother, that was creepy.

This was a fantastic book.  I love it!

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hello, I'm back.

Now I'm going to review Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth, which is the fourth book in the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series by Rick Riordan. This is another one of my favorite PJO books. SPOILER ALERT!!!

In this book, Annabeth is called to go on a quest into the labyrinth with Percy, Grover, and Tyson. Along the way they meet various monster, find Nico, and more Greek gods.

I don't even have to tell you you how much I love Percy, do I?  Percy Is one the best fictional male characters I've ever read about.  It is impossible not to love Percy Jackson. Does anyone else love the part when Annabeth kissed Percy? Percabeth!

We also get a little bit of Annabeth character development.  She's never lead a quest before and she's really doubting herself a lot, and Percy is being an awesome friend to her.

Grover and Tyson are still Awesome, lovable characters. Nico, and Rachel Dare is cool, and so is Calypso.

Kronos is alive which means all Hades is about to break loose.

This is an awesome book!  I love it and I can't wait to read it again.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Titan's Cures by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hello.

Now I'm reviewing The third book in the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series, The Titan's Cures by Rick Riordan. I just want to start off by saying that this is one of my favorite books in the PJO series. SPOILER ALERT!

In this book Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and their friend Thalia, who is a daughter of Zeus, have to save two new demigods, Bianca and Nico di Angelo.  And they have to save the goddess Artemis from Luke and Atlas.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE PERCY JACKSON!!!  He sill is my favorite PJO character ever. One thing that I think is awesome in this book is that we get more Percabeth foreshadowing.  Did any one else like the part when Percy was talking to Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and it seems to me that she ships Percabeth.

I love Grover.  How can you not love Grover?

Thalia is easily one of my favorite PJO characters.  She's an awesome character.  I didn't like that she blamed Percy for Annabeth falling of a cliff.  It's wasn't Percy's fault! He was just doing what he had to do!  Other then that Thalia is awesome.

I LOVE Nico di Angelo!!!

Bianca di Angelo was also an awesome character.  

I honestly did not like Zoe Nightshade, then after a while I started to like her more then I originally did.

Annabeth was still very awesome even though she didn't do much cause she was kidnapped. 

I love the part in the first chapter when Percy and Annabeth are dancing, and when Nico was asking Percy a lot of different questions, and when they made the dam jokes. A lot good stuff in this book. I love it.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hi.

Now I'm gonna be reviewing Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Sea of Monsters, which is the second book in the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series by Rick Riordan.  SPOILER ALERT!

In this book Thalia's tree has been poisoned, and Percy, Annabeth, and Percy's [spoiler] new half brother, Tyson (Who happens to be a cyclops) need to go into the Sea of Monsters and get the Golden Fleece to save the tree. And they have to save Grover who was kidnapped by a cyclops.

In case you can't tell, I'm a huge Percabeth shipper. And in this book we get more Percabeth foreshadowing then we had in the first book. Percy and Annabeth are so cute together.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed in Percy in the first several chapters of this book. After Percy found out that Tyson was his half brother, he was a little ashamed of it. I love Percy, I really, really, reallylove Percy, but that seemed really rude, that's my opinion. Other then that, Percy was AWESOME! 

Annabeth was also very awesome. I just love Annabeth and Percy's relationship.

I love Grover in this book.  I think it's funny that Grover was wearing a wedding dress so that the cyclops wouldn't know that he's a satyr, and he's sending Percy telepathic messages telling him to hurry up and save him.

Clarisse ticked me off in this book, she needs to learn to keep her mouth shut.  I'm not the only who thought this when reading the book, right?

I love Tyson. I love how how looks up to Percy (even though Tyson is at least six feet tall).

I like the part when Percy got turned into a guinea pig; and when Percy saved Annabeth from the sirens.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lighting Thief by Rick Riordan Book Review!

Hello.

I'm back and now I'm going to review the review the Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan, starting with the book that started it all! I am a really big fan of the Percy Jackson series, as well as The Heroes of Olympus, and The Kane Chronicles also by Rick Riordan.  As always, there are going to be spoilers!

in this book Percy Jackson discovers that he is the son of Poseidon, and that he is a Half-Blood or demigod. Percy is also accused of stealing Zeus's Master Bolt, and is giving a limited amount of time to find or there will be war.

First of all, I LOVE PERCY JACKSON! How can you not love Percy Jackson? Percy is one of those characters that you love at first glance. He's cute, funny, strong, brave, loyal, and a little dorky sometimes. And he always puts family and friends first.

Annabeth is also a very awesome character.  he is very brave, very strong, and very smart (after all, her mom is Athena).

I also really love Grover the satyr. He is so sweet. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover make an awesome trio.

I liked Luke, until I found out he was a traitor.

I think it's funny that all the Greek gods are modernized, like how Ares looks like a biker.

Another character I like is Percy's mom, Sally.

And what I am about to ask is a pretty big spoiler, but is it save to assume that Percy's mom turned his step dad into stone using Medusa's head?

And we can't forget Clarisse. To me, Clarisse is one of those characters that you love to hate. She's a daughter Ares so that explains why she's so quick to pick a fight, and is angry for most of the series.

And Poseidon is a pretty awesome character compared to the other Greek gods.

I love the part when Clarisse was trying to give Percy a swirly and He made all the water shoot out of the toilets and showers and soaked all the Ares kids; and when Percy found out that Grover was a satyr; and another part I love is when Percy comes to Camp Half-Blood for the first time.
